The long coveted airsoft version of the M240 General Purpose Machine Gun is now available. This 7.62mm caliber machine gun was developed in Belgium in the 1950’s and has since been adopted as the standard GPMG by over 20 countries. Redesignated the M240 by the US military, it has replaced the venerable but unreliable M60 as the standard infantry belt fed machine gun for both the US Army and the US Marines. Its effectiveness in providing support firepower and superior reliability under combat conditions in Iraq and Afghanistan has made the M240 a very popular and respected weapon among all Marine and Army infantrymen.

The TGS M240 is a precision made CNC bodied airsoft recreation. The fit and finish are impeccable. Despite being durably built, it weighs the same or less than a Classic Army M249 which makes this a very practical field carry weapon also. It is a perfect weapon for offensive operations, stronghold defense, opponent intimidation (“You call that M249 a machine gun? I’ll show you a machine gun…”), vehicle mounted mobile attack, or just plain old showing off to your buddies.
